Auto rice mill plants
An auto rice mill joins four sections: parboiling, drying, milling and bagging. Rubber roll or disc hullers husk the paddy, a separator returns unhusked grain, the rice is polished, and a colour sorter removes discoloured grains. A semi-automatic mill has no mechanical dryer.
Oil expellers and mustard oil mills
A screw-press expeller squeezes oil from mustard and other oilseeds, leaving oil cake that still holds some oil. Recovery depends on the seed, its moisture and the press, so ask for a trial on your own seed. Add seed cleaning, a filter press and storage tanks.
Flour and spice grinding mills
Hammer and pin mills grind chilli, turmeric and other spices; flour comes from stone, hammer or roller mills with sieving. State the product, the fineness and the hourly output, and ask for dust collection.
Feed mill machinery
A feed mill doses, grinds and mixes ingredients, then makes mash, pellets on a pellet mill or floating fish feed on an extruder, followed by drying, cooling and bagging. Making feed needs a licence under the Fish Feed and Animal Feed Act 2010.
Snack and noodle lines
Snack lines mix, extrude or sheet, fry or bake, then season and pack. Noodle lines mix, sheet, cut, steam and fry or dry. Size a line in kilograms per hour of finished product, and check whether the product needs a BSTI Certification Mark licence.
Fruit pulp and juice lines
Lines wash, sort and pulp mango, guava or pineapple, then heat-treat and fill pulp into drums or juice into bottles and cartons. Plan steam and cooling water with the line.
