Buying three-wheelers in Bangladesh
Bangladesh runs two kinds of three-wheeler. The engine-driven auto-rickshaw, called a baby taxi or a CNG when it runs on compressed natural gas, works narrow and crowded city streets. The battery-run easy bike carries passengers in towns and villages. A 2022 report found most of their parts are made locally, bought by workshops, fleet owners and dealers.
The legal position decides what can be ordered. As a three-wheeler supplier in Bangladesh, Roptan does not offer complete battery-run units for road use here, and does not assume a new CNG unit can be registered. We confirm the vehicle's status with BRTA before any quote, then source parts, bodies and batteries from verified sellers and check them.
