Buying false eyelashes in Bangladesh

False eyelashes are fibres set on a band, or in small clusters, that add length and volume to natural lashes. Beauty brands, online sellers and salon suppliers abroad buy them in volume. The EPB line for false eyelashes, beards and eyebrows of synthetic fibre, HS 670419, earned about 87.3 million US dollars in FY2025-26, about 77 per cent of the whole 6704 heading.

Kinds of false eyelash

Synthetic strip lashes

Fibre on a strip that is trimmed to the width of the lid and stuck just above the natural lashes with temporary glue, then removed the same day. The retail and private-label staple.

Human hair lashes

Lashes made of human hair rather than fibre, a distinct line in the trade. They are exported under the human hair line, 670420, not the synthetic one.

Magnetic lashes

A strip with thin magnets that clamps the natural lashes between a pair, with no glue, and can be reused. The box should warn about magnets near MRI scanners.

Individual and cluster lashes

Single lashes or small clusters that a technician fixes to the natural lashes with semi-permanent glue; they usually last about three to four weeks. Sold to salons as classic, volume and hybrid sets.

Lashes with effects

Glitter, gradient colours or decorative lace on the strip. Approve the effect on a sample before bulk, since it adds a step.

How to specify a false eyelash order

Fibre: Synthetic, usually polyester, nylon or plastic fibre, or human hair. Names such as faux mink or silk do not say which fibre is used, so state the fibre itself.
Length, density and curl: Length in millimetres, density and the curl shape, approved on a physical sample rather than a photo.
Band and fit: Band type and strip length. Strip lashes are made to fit most eye shapes and the wearer trims them, so state the length before trimming.
Glue: Packed with glue or without. If glue goes in the box, name the adhesive supplier and get its ingredient list.
Box and private label: Box shape, size, logo and print, and extras such as a magnetic closure, a clear window, a zip seal or a reusable box.

Rules and papers for false eyelashes

US FDA cosmetic rules: The FDA treats false eyelashes, eyelash extensions and their adhesives as cosmetics, which must meet its safety and labelling requirements. A US buyer will ask for adhesive ingredients and compliant labels.
Glue in the eye area: The FDA warns that eyelids are delicate, so a reaction there is troublesome, and tells users to check adhesive ingredients. Get the ingredient list before glue goes into your box.
HS 670419 and 670420: Synthetic lashes go under 670419, human hair lashes under 670420, which also holds wigs of human hair. Your broker confirms the line.

What moves the price of false eyelashes

Fibre: human hair lashes usually cost more than synthetic fibre.
Form: strip, magnetic and cluster lashes differ in materials and handwork.
Density and length: fuller, longer lashes use more fibre per pair.

Lead times and delivery

Questions buyers ask

Can you supply mink lashes?

No. We source synthetic and human hair lashes only. In the United States, mink and other fur used in lashes is treated as wildlife even when the animals are farmed, and a commercial importer needs a licence from the US Fish and Wildlife Service before the first shipment.

What does faux mink mean?

It is a trade name for synthetic fibre made to look like mink. Names such as faux mink and silk can mean different fibres from one maker to another, so the order states the actual fibre and the sample is approved against it.

Strip or cluster lashes: which should I stock?

Strip lashes suit retail: the wearer trims them, applies them with temporary glue and removes them with warm water or make-up remover. Individual and cluster lashes are fixed by a technician with semi-permanent glue and usually last three to four weeks, so they suit salon supply.

Should glue be packed with the lashes?

Only if you know what is in it. The FDA treats lash adhesives as cosmetics and tells users to check the ingredients, since the eye area is delicate. If you include glue, name the adhesive and print its ingredients; otherwise sell the lashes without it.

How soon will I hear back about wigs and hair products?
