Bangladesh makes most of the medicines it uses, and its pharmaceutical companies export to many countries. Hospitals, clinics and labs buy imported equipment through local agents, and local factories make syringes, cannulas, gauze and other disposables.
Roptan checks DGDA registration where it applies, brand authorisation and warranty terms, and arranges installation and training through the seller for equipment. Medicines also need registration in the buyer's own country before import.
